A CLASSIC Ferrari has become the most expensive car in the world after it was sold for �7MILLION.
The legendary Ferrari 250 GTO was auctioned for the record-breaking price after a mystery Englishman bid for the Italian sportscar.
Only 39 models of the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO model were ever built from 1962 to 1964.
It was already considered one of the most valuable cars in the world, previously thought to have been worth around �illion.
The whopping sale price million smashed the previous world record to bits, reported German newspaper Bild.
That was set after a 1961 Ferrari California Spyder was sold for about �million in May.
